Scavenger Hunt
The scavenger hunt returns, bigger and better! Like last year, the scavenger hunt will run from Friday morning to Saturday night. Participants will search for hidden items, complete sidequests, and explore Applehurst Farm for clues, companionship, and adventure!
Sword and Sorcery Showdown
Welcome, adventurers, to the Sword and Sorcery Showdown! In this tournament you will take up a one-handed sword with your team of 6 fencers/mages to prove your skill with the blade and earn mana to be used for casting powerful spells and enchantments in matches against opposing teams of spellswords! This event is designed and run by Isabel Branch of New Haven Historical Fencing.
Open Longsword
Come compete at this year’s Open Longsword tournament! This event will use a revised version of our standard tournament rules, utilizing changes we want to test out before next Spring. Expect lots of exciting new changes to rules, scoring, and format! This tournament will be submitted to HEMA Ratings.
Quizfecht
Join your host, Drew MacKeil of Moose Historical Fencing, for an evening of team trivia and minigames at Quizfecht! Teams of 3 will compete to prove their knowledge and skill in a variety of challenges, and there will be plenty of opportunities for audience participation!
Ranged Weapons
This year, the Ranged Weapons tournament will have two categories: Archery and Stone Throwing (shot put). Archery will be run by the illustrious Marcus Bowyer, and Stone Throwing will be run by the enigmatic Shane Scallin of Black Cat Historical Fencing. Come show off your shooting and throwing skills, and keep an eye out for extra ranged activities and surprises!
